She’s actually so pretty…I hate that people judge her on her looks when she STILL sounds amazing…some of these rap stars look like they’re murderers and that’s OK…ugh. I’m seeing Heart in October – can’t wait.

I feel sorry for her, that surgery is so unnecessary, the medical community is ripping us off with their procedures

You could parachute out of a plane with Ann’s panties.

Geez, skinny? I was there for the hay days of Heart. Ann was never skinny. She was always a little chubbier, and then got fat.

Congrats for that and i mean it! It’s something that many people in your age are thinking …it’s ridiculous! It’s a shame cause nowadays the web offers you the opportunity for all the sources you need. Anyway just wanted to say that i don’t want to sound like a smartass or a discipline freak. It’s just that people sometimes forget that their body is more important that their houses or their bank account. Ofcourse i’m against the skinny&plastic-look-hysteria. Take care & stay cool ;)

Well, I like to read and the 70’s is a decade that I’m very interested in.

I didn’t know that fact about her 70’s starving. I wonder how do you know it since you’re 22. Btw i don’t think that she was skinny then, just normal. Now, since you put me such a question :) being sexy has not only to do with your look, everybody has his own “type” so if you’re a “heavier” type you’ll look ugly by getting skinny and the opposite. But you know you don’t have to starve and be a health freak, with average exercise you can have a decent look AND most important a better health ;)

Actually, the reason she was so skinny in the 70’s is because she starved herself. Is that how you would rather women be?

She’s was a great singer, still is. But also a food addict. She wasn’t fat in the 70’s. I have no sympathy for people who getting fact if there’s no medical reasons. When you’re over 40 you have to think about your metabolism, that’s a fact. Otherwise you get fat, that’s also a fact. It’s simple and also a question of self-respect. It’s no coincidence that low educated people are fatter than others. There are people with REAL health problems, don’t bother us with all the fatties of this world..

That’s so true. I suffer from food addiction myself, and even though I reduced my weight down to 150 lbs from 220 pounds, food was always still in the back of my mind. It is definitely mentally equal to any other addiction.

Ann is a food addict, no different than all the drug addicts in rock n roll.

She made it a guys against women thing. All the suits and all the GUYS in the band came and had “the talk” with her. So Nancy NEVER said anything to her about her weight? BULL.

thats too bad , i hoped that th lap band would help her self-esteem i know she struggles with that because of the press

i think she was massive because she said she lost 50 lbs. and wants to lose another 45 lbs. so thats nearly 100 lbs. overweight which might have been a health issue for her. you sure couldnt tell it from her singing though,it is and always has been AWESOME!

Ann Wilson isn’t a fashion model. What she does best is sing, and no amount of superlatives will do that voice justice.

She’s 59 this year, and she still belts out songs they put out 30 years ago with the same energy and range. Think about who’s popular now and in their prime, and ask yourself whether they’ll be able to deliver with the same intensity in 20-30 years..
