you make a great point, it is all psychological. Our brain has more power than we think. If the brain isn’t healthy, then our bodies won’t be either. Short goals are easier to achieve than larger ones, but we can add many short goals and create a big one, it is a again the power of our brain to help us be patient.

I really liked the Tortoise & the Hare analogy… honestly made me think…. and you’re definitely dead-on about wanting it right now… I always do that to myself… try really hard for a week and then get tired of it, or realize i could never keep this up, and then I just stop… but gosh it’s so true that… like… people you love you want to take care of and keep happy, you want them to be healthy. Why can’t we all have this same love for ourselves?

    Thank you for this video.

I’ve always been very enthusiastic, wanted to do more and more.
Always gave up on it due to WAY TOO TIRED BODY.
    Moderation is the key word.

you’re still going to find things about yourself you wish you could change.. you just have to love yourself for who you are, what you have and what you can offer the world. People should think about this more often. Thanks so much for this video.. it really got me thinking* =)

wow! this is a wonderful video! I completey understand what you mean. When you love yourself you want to do good things for you & your body! Take it from me, I’m thin and ppl tell me all the time “you have the body ppl pay $ for” blah blah blah I dont care how “thin” you are..

    you’re perfectly making sense.
i’m not sure that loving yourself and wanting to treat yourself good leads to eating healthy. because speaking of food a “treat” is usually something “bad” healthwise.
BUT i’m sure loving (at least accepting) yourself IS the key. i noticed that when i was dealing with bad skin. i hated my skin, my face. when i realized that and stopped and accepted it – my skin got better. sure, outer treatments probably helped too, but not before i started “not hating” myself.

I’m so glad to have watched your videos! :) lately I have been trying to lose weight. I usualy exercise 30+ a day sometimes even 2 hrs or more depending I also dont eat junk food anymore and nor sweets or stuff and it wasn’t har at all :) i know just don’t drink soft drinks (apart from severeal occasions) anymore which is so amazing the fact you feel so much better and you notice everything extra you were eating are something you can live without… ALL YOU NEED IS MOTIVATION

You make perfect sense, and I ‘m glad you took the time to share your thoughts. It’s important to get your ideas out; written or verbal it enables us to truly understand what were are thinking rather then the thoughts bouncing around and replaying themselves in our inner voice brain. Plus I find that when I am doing chores alone in my house, is when my brain speaks to me without being questioned. Hopefully that doesn’t sound odd…anyways, many thanks!

Shanty; for a midnight rambling- that was awesome! I tend to do my best thinking at night and I totally agree with having to love ourselves first. I’v got thoughts rolling around too now; thinking about how this applies to me and my journey. And yes; I’ll work on my happy list as well :)
